The 部门 of 校园娱乐 offers a number of 美国红十字会 Certification courses such as Life Guard Training, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, 标准急救, and Instructor classes. All participants must be at least 16 years of age on the date the training course is held. We reserve the right to cancel any class that doesn't meet minimum enrollment requirement of at least 3 participants the day 之前 the class begins. 美国红十字会 Certification courses will be held in the Wet Classroom located in the Student Recreation Center.
Course Descriptions

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, 心脏骤停, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. When a patient experiences a life-threatening emergency, healthcare providers need to act swiftly and promptly. The course emphasizes providing high-quality and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
First 援助/CPR/AED (Adult and Pediatric)
This course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of 急救 emergencies such as burns, 削减, 擦伤, 突如其来的疾病, head, 脖子, backinjuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 yeras of age). Certification is valid for two years.
Lifeguard Certification
At the 美国红十字会, our water safety and lifeguarding courses are designed and taught by industry-leading professionals who can help you not only help others stay safe in, on and around the water, but can help you learn the latest safety and rescue techniques, and deliver critical care, 像心肺复苏, 急救, and AED administration, when it's needed most.
